Removing old cache files

Just noticed that my EASy live site is 20Mb in total after only about 60 visitors and 150 page views. 95% of that is the cache folder, with time the cache folder will become massive. Any suggests as to how and when we should purge the cache folder?

That is something I have definitely thought about. Right now I am hosting on a dedicated linux box, so I just run a cron script to delete old cache files. What I was planning on doing is everytime a file is written to the cache folder, do a quick function that will check for old files and delete them.
