Only 2 columns of products showing in Internet Explorer

I love this code by the way. It looks great. I had one problem setting up my luxustar.com website though. It is probably the default theme in some way but with a basic install it was only giving 2 columns in internet explorer and normal 3 columns in firefox. So, I edited the layout2_setup file to increase the 640px to 650px and it began to show the correct 3 columns. Unfortunately it began leaving empty blocks of products occasionally and only if the page has multiple paged products. I hate IE! Thanks again for the code. I found you on digitpoint forums.
