Growing Cache

Someone had this problem before, it was suggested to use fewer cache days. Form the suggestion I use 4 cache days. 345600 seconds one time I even went down to three days 259200 seconds.

The cache can fill from empty to 100MB+ on lots of my sites, in just a few hours with hardly any users!! It was at 259200; // 3 days in seconds, I have changed this to 12 hours!!!

The server will be maxed out soon...any suggestions as to why this is happening? Is this a search engine such as google caching these pages. They have always been large caches but they are just going crazy!!
