Ebay AppID messing things up

I installed the site on my server under an unused domain. The site works instantly but when I add the ebay developer ID, I get a php error on line 3. The empty space on the default had a quotation mark and semi colon. What's the correct format? I know that one wrong character or space will mess things up. Should there be quotations on both ends? No quotations? Here's how it looks without my ID: $AppId = ';
