Category Not Working

Hi, not sure what I am doing wrong but when I uncomment the category line below and set the category number no items are ever found. Otherwise my sites work fine.

//$site['ebaycat'] = 27866;

Is this the proper list of ebay categories?

Thanks!

Only obvious thing I can

Only obvious thing I can think of (and you can kick me if I'm wrong)...is that you are using the wrong ebaycat number.

Note that the page you link to by default is set to "Show number of items in category", you need to change that over to "Show category numbers" before copy/pasting the number:

Oh snap, that was it

Oh snap, that was it thanks!
Didn't notice it was showing number of items, not category numbers.

Now that I have that fixed,

Now that I have that fixed, is there a way to disable the category in the similar topics and related searches in the sidebar?

For example on my sunglasses site, someone searches for chanel sunglasses and a related search is chanel purses, but when they click on that it still is searching the sunglasses category and finds no purses.

Might be good to disable the category in the seach box as well or give the user a choice for searching the category or all of ebay.

I am having the category

I am having the category issue as well, I have the correct category ID #, but it is just showing items from all categories.

Is there a new issue with this?
