Adsense TOS and Tips

If you are displaying Adsense on your McJiffy sites you should be aware that the Adsense TOS requires your site to display a privacy policy. There are a number of generic privacy policies you can copy, just google.

I found a quick way to display a privacy policy was to put it in a keyword snippet and then include a link to that search in the footer.

Now if you have a custom template with extra html you dont want to show on this page here is a trick.
First make sure the keyword php is the first thing in the content area of your template.

After the privacy policy text place this code at the end of your privacy+policy.txt

That code will prevent the rest of the page from rendering.

Since the rest of the page wont be rendering we should close the open div's before the noscript eg:

If you want to get fancy you can even put your footer HTML in the keyword snippet so it renders properly.

Using this method you can easily add new pages to your sites such as an "about us",partner links or what ever you like and the regular McJiffy content will be replaced.
